Account Deletion Request

1. About This Policy

AICI Learning is the learning management application of ALL INDIA COMPUTER INSTITUTE. The app provides educational and institute-related features such as student profiles, attendance records, fee details, study materials, tests, notifications and live-class information.

Students and other account holders can contact the institute to request deletion of their account and associated personal data, subject to identity verification and applicable record-retention requirements.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

To submit a deletion request, follow these steps:

1. Send an email to the institute using the contact details below.
2. Use the subject line AICI Learning Account Deletion Request.
3. Provide your registered Student ID or the registered mobile number associated with your account.
4. The institute may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
5. The institute will review your request and inform you of the next steps.

3. What Data May Be Deleted?

Depending on the account and the information held by the institute, a deletion request may cover:

• Account and profile information
• Profile photographs
• Login and account-related information
• Other personal information associated with the account, where eligible for deletion

The exact data deleted will depend on the account, the systems in which the information is stored and any applicable retention requirements.

4. Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may need to be retained for legitimate institutional, educational, accounting, security or legal purposes. This may include:

• Fee and payment records
• Attendance and examination records
• Records needed to resolve disputes or meet legal obligations

Where information must be retained, it will be handled according to applicable requirements and the institute's data-retention practices. A deletion request does not automatically mean every institutional record can be erased.

5. Request Review and Processing

Requests are reviewed by the institute. Identity verification may be required to protect accounts from unauthorised deletion requests. Processing time may vary depending on verification and the nature of the request.

If a request cannot be fully completed because certain records must be retained, the institute will explain the applicable limitations where appropriate.
